Headmaster’s Message

Aristotle famously claimed 'The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.'  This applies even more when the parts are as unique as the members of our Craighouse School community. We value the diversity of our pupils as an integral part of what makes Craighouse special.

We are proud of our community of families and staff; working together on developing the whole person to their maximum potential in all aspects.  We are proud too of our caring and committed pupils who give their all in the classroom, on the sportsfield and when developing caring friendships with those around them.

Through our international programmes and our commitment to the innovative Craighouse Educational Project, our school, our community and our pupils will continue to make Craighouse School a whole that is so much more than the sum of its parts.

We literally landed in the school in 2009 after five years living abroad. We got here thanks to recommendations by friends and old girls and boys. We wanted a bilingual, coeducational, secular school that had the option of offering religion classes, and that was inclusive. We also wanted a place where sports were important.
