Parent workshops

The parent workshops are an extension of the Formative Curriculum implemented with pupils in the classroom. They are voluntary and allow parents to share strategies, develop concrete activities for supporting children, and share relevant information about children’s stage of development stage.

Some topics discussed in previous years are: 
Sexuality: When is the right time to talk to my child?; 


Addiction prevention: How do I help my child to make decisions;

Support for learning;

Sensory integration; 

Motivating children to read;

Study habits for children; 


Convivencia escolar: How can I help my child to have positive social relationships?;

Autonomy;
Vocational guidance: Do I know what my child’s dreams/ideals are?; 

How can I help my child make a difference in the world?, etc. 

We also discuss current issues such as Talking about the earthquake.
