Father/mother – son/daughter evenings

The father-son and mother-daughter evenings have become increasingly significant for the Craighouse School community. They create a favourable atmosphere for intimacy and conversation between mothers/fathers and sons/daughters, which offers them a moment of reflection in the middle of our hectic everyday life.

These meetings are organised by the Formative Area and each year deal with different topics. Four meetings are held each year for pupils in Years 5 to 10. Each meeting is specifically designed for one pair: mother-son, father-son, mother-daughter or father-daughter.

The topics discussed during these evenings are family relationships, sexuality, friendship and femininity-masculinity, among others. They usually arise from the interests or needs of our school community throughout the year.
