Senior

WELCOME TO SENIOR

Craighouse's identity and culture are strengthened during the Senior years, deepening bonds with teachers, pupils, and parents. It is essential that this connection is maintained with mutual respect and trust.

It consists of four levels, from Year 9 to Year 12. There are 6 classes per year, with approximately 20 stundents per class.

Pupils complete the MYP in Year 9, while in Year 10, they begin the IB Diploma Programme. At the same time, they engage with the national curriculum and prepare for their university entrance exam (PAES) in Year 12.

Alongside Craighouse School’s formative curriculum—enhanced by a wide range of extracurricular activities—we aim to develop our pupils' ability to express their emotions, cultivate reflective and critical thinking skills, foster personal autonomy, and build a positive self-esteem.

Developing and fostering these qualities, both at an individual level and in their interactions with peers, is key to enabling our pupils to reach their full potential and contribute to making the world a better place.
