Extracurricular Activities 2021
A visitor walking through Craighouse on any afternoon will witness the very rich and varied programme of extracurricular afternoon activities on offer to our pupils.
In Primary, children might be enrolled in flamenco, cricket, art with recycling, choir, or creation of urban kitchen gardens, to mention just a few.
In Middle and Senior youngsters can choose from a great variety of activities, including chess, fusion band, theatre in English, debating, digital journalism, among many others. On average the school runs upwards of 40 extracurricular activities per Year.
Extracurricular activities are led by Craighouse staff members or recognised experts in the specific fields involved with no additional cost to parents. Workshops leaders are highly committed to helping children and young people discover, enjoy and develop their interests, talents and skills.
Our community is invited to watch just how far our children have gone in their chosen extracurricular activities when towards the end of each Year we are invited to the final presentations. It is often a moment when parents, pupils and school feel a great pride in themselves and all they have achieved.
